This stage begins from the middle of April every year. As, Loofah is a climbing plant, and so farmers make brambles of wood in order to let loofah plants climb them.

1st Stage : Sowing
2nd Stage : Collecting
At this stage, farmers start to crop loofah plants at the beginning of September till the end of January (cropping season).
3rd Stage : Sinking
At this stage, farmers put loofah plants in big tubs which are full of water, and that happens for 3 days in summer and 7 days in winter or autumn, as water help in completing the maturing process (Formulation of loofah fabric).
